TOPIC- JOINT SESSION OF THE PARLIAMENT

GUESTS- PROFESSOR IBRAHIM KHAN, IRFAN SIDDIQI, HUMAYON AKHTER KHAN, KASHMALA TARIQ, SHEIKH ROHAIL ASGHAR

PROFESSOR IBRAHIM KHAN OF JI said that DGISI did not use the word "SURENDER" in his statement. He said that it was told that American helicopters came from Jalal Abad airport Afghanistan. He said that it was told that military was not expecting any attempt from Western borders of the country. He said that people of Abbot Abad do not believe that Osama was residing in their city. He said that our government is repeating the American version of the story with out any confirmation. He said that it is also demanded that the national security committee should also investigate the incident beside judicial commission. He said that it was told that our forces can knock down drone planes if government decides for it. He said that it was told that then government should also work out the aftermath of the conflict with America. He said that the positive thing is this that the first time military top brass presented itself in front of the parliament for accountability. He said that he doubts that the women told as the wives of Osama are actually his wives. He said that parliament is supreme and armed forces should work under the command of civil authority.

IRFAN SIDDIQI A POLITICAL COLUMNIST said that it should be decided now that the politicians are the rulers of the country. He said that military should give up this mind set that only they know how to run the country and no body is more patriotic than armed forces.

HUMAYON AKHTER KHAN OF PML (Q) said that the end game of America is on in Afghanistan and Pakistan needs to be very careful. He said that the way our government congratulated America on their success it shows that they had knowledge about the exercise.

KASHMALA TARIQ OF PML (Q) said that some of the questions are answered by military officials and some are not. She said that it is funny that secrete session of the parliament was going on and media was running the tickers of its proceedings. She said that we should be worried about the security of Pakistan more than Osama Bin Laden. She said that there will be no official statement issued until judicial commission proposal become the part of it.

SHEIKH ROHAIL ASGHAR OF PML (N) said that there was nothing significant about in camera session of the parliament. He said that there was no answer that if America attacks again what will be the response of Pakistan. He said that there are so many fawning people towards military among politicians in the parliament.--
