ISLAMABAD: Leader of the opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Tuesday while criticising the presidential address to the joint session of the parliament said the address only fulfilled the constitutional requirement and not people’s requirement.
Talking to the media, Chudhry Nisar said President Asif Ali Zardari Zardari did not discuss the major problems including corruption, inflation, loadshedding being faced by the nation.
He said that the opposition registered its protest by staging a walkout during the address.
Nisar said those involved in release of Raymond Davis should admit their deed.
He said coalition partners MQM and PPP are satisfied and working together despite ongoing target killings in Karachi. |
